Douglas Malton currently serves on the Board of Directors for InnovaCare Health. Doug brings expertise to the organization working on multi-site healthcare space, skilled in acquisition due diligence, budgeting, corporate finance and strategic planning.
Doug served as the Chief Financial Officer for InnovaCare Health from 2021 – 2024, where he is responsible for strategic finance, corporate control, and finance systems and transformation. From 2012 to 2021, he served as CFO of MMM Healthcare, Puerto Rico’s largest and oldest Medicare Advantage (MA) plan. Under InnovaCare Health leadership, the plan grew to $3.5 billion in revenue and became the ninth-largest MA plan in the country. Prior his role at MMM Healthcare, he served in a number of senior management roles at Aveta, Inc., from the company’s founding in 2004, including Director and VP of Business Development, VP of Finance and as CFO until its sale in 2012, which included direct responsibility for NAMM. Prior to serving at Aveta, Malton spent more than seven years as an investment banker with Citigroup and Oppenheimer where he concentrated on debt and equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Doug received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire. Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree, he acquired his Master of Science degree in Genetics from the University of Connecticut.
