Dr. Jose A. Moreno is an experienced primary care physician dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to individuals and families. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, a Master of Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph’s College of Maine, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Matthew’s School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Hospital Buen Samaritano in Puerto Rico, where he received extensive training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Critical Care, Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Prior to joining primary care practice in Florida, Dr. Moreno gained valuable experience as an emergency medicine physician in Puerto Rico, caring for patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. His diverse background also includes extensive medical training through the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences, where he developed a strong foundation in emergency and clinical care.
Dr. Moreno has a special interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and helping patients improve their overall health and quality of life. His broad clinical experience allows him to care for patients with complex medical needs while maintaining a strong focus on personalized treatment and patient education.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Moreno is passionate about ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. He is known for building strong relationships with his patients and strives to create a welcoming environment where every patient receives attentive, individualized care.
