Diana is a Houston, TX native who earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with minors in Chemistry and Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown. Prior to transitioning to the field of medicine as a Physician Assistant, she gained experience working in a medical pathology lab. In 2009, Diana graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern in Dallas and has since focused on providing exceptional patient care in the outpatient setting, with a primary focus on primary care and urgent care. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, she recognized an increasing demand for mental health services and pursued specialized training through a psychiatric fellowship in Fort Worth, TX. Diana’s goal is to support a broad range of patients in achieving optimal health and wellness. In her leisure time, she enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family.
