Ravi Chari

Ravi Chari currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of InnovaCare Health, where he leads operations for the organization across all markets.  He and his team are focused on implementing standard workflows in clinics to deliver culturally competent care, exceptional patient experiences, consistency of value-based clinical protocols, as well as leveraging technology to improve efficiency and experience of providers.

Prior to joining InnovaCare Health, he spent 15 years with HCA Healthcare, most recently serving as President and CEO in HCA’s West Florida Division. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Vice President at the enterprise level, leading HCA’s Clinical Excellence agenda. This enterprise program was aimed at improving clinical and operating performance by identifying and reducing avoidable, negative clinical variation. Ravi also led the HCA Physician Leadership Academy, which focused on developing physician executive leaders.

Ravi graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Duke University. Following residency, he entered fellowship training at the University of Toronto in Hepatobiliary Surgery and Abdominal Organ Transplantation. His first staff appointment was at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. His second appointment was at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served as Professor and Chief of the Division of Liver Surgery and Transplantation. Ravi earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
