MSO of Puerto Rico Appoints New Chief Administrative Officer

San Juan, Puerto Rico —  Raúl F. Montalvo Orsini, M.D. president of MSO of Puerto Rico, LLC announced today that Annie Mayol del Valle has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer of the company, dedicated to providing administrative and support services to healthcare providers.

Mayol will be in charge of supervising the implementation of MSO’s strategic plan, including the IPA Network Management Department, and the Office Advantage Program for medical offices’ personnel. The executive has made an outstanding work in several roles at local, state, and federal levels. This includes relevant positions as liaison for political affairs between Regional offices in the U.S. and the White House.

An experienced professional in the healthcare industry, she has worked as Chief of Staff for the Secretary of Health, Federal Health Affairs Advisor for the Government of Puerto Rico, and Consultant specializing in public policy and new business development. She also led the PR government team during the implementation of Obamacare in the Island, in key aspects such as Health Information Exchange, MMIS, and Health Information Technology.

Mayol holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy from American University in Washington, D.C. and a Master’s Degree from Harvard University in Boston.
